Samsung is preparing to introduce a new series of Galaxy Tab S11 tablets, which will include two models - the basic Tab S11 and the flagship Tab S11 Ultra. According to a new leak, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will receive a significant improvement in battery life: a battery with a capacity of up to 12,000 mAh.

Here's What We Know

According to GalaxyClub, the Ultra model will have a nominal battery capacity of 11,374 mAh, which is 500 mAh more than its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Since Samsung officially states the typical capacity for the Tab S10 Ultra at 11,200 mAh, it is expected that the Tab S11 Ultra will have a capacity of 11,700 or even 12,000 mAh.

Unlike the Ultra version, the basic Galaxy Tab S11 will not receive any improvements in terms of battery life - it will retain the same battery as last year's Tab S9: the nominal capacity will be 8,160 mAh, the typical capacity will be 8,400 mAh. It is worth noting that Samsung is probably not planning to release a successor to the Galaxy Tab S10+ model, focusing only on the two main versions of the Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra.

The official launch date for the new series is not yet known, but it is expected to take place in September, similar to the launch of the Tab S10 series in 2024. At the Unpacked event in July, Samsung will showcase new folding smartphones Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7, as well as updated smartwatches and Galaxy Buds.
