At the international defence exhibition IDET 2025 in the Czech city of Brno, the unmanned platform UNEX UGV was presented, which according to experts may become a new stage in the development of amphibious combat vehicles.

Here's What We Know

UNEX UGV is a multi-purpose unmanned ground platform developed within the framework of Czech-Ukrainian cooperation in the defence industry, which can overcome water obstacles.

The vehicle is designed mainly for logistical tasks and has a payload capacity of up to 1,700kg and can carry both cargo and crew. It can reach speeds of up to 20 km/h and can operate for up to 6 hours on land and up to 3 hours in water. The UNEX UGV is controlled remotely, the operator can be within a radius of up to 10 kilometres, and this distance can be virtually unlimited when connected to the global LTE system.

Due to the high chassis, the drone has excellent cross-country ability and is able to overcome obstacles up to 1 metre high and slopes up to 40 degrees.

UNEX UGV is resistant to electronic warfare and can jam the signal of enemy drones.

Importantly, the novelty can be used to evacuate wounded from the battlefield without exposing the crew to the attack.

UNEX UGV is equipped with remote combat modules.

The participants of the exhibition highly appreciated the development and have no doubts about its effectiveness in real combat conditions. The unmanned platform has already received official approval from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and is ready for large-scale production.
