Pixel 10 may be shown as early as June: Google has sent out invitations to Superfans
Google has sent out an invitation to Pixel Superfans to take part in a special event on 27 June. The letter refers to a "new Pixel experience", but the company has not yet disclosed specifics.
Here's What We Know
This may indicate a much earlier announcement of the Pixel 10 - for the first time not in autumn, but this summer.
For comparison, the Pixel 9 was released in August 2024, while previous generations were traditionally launched in October. But this year, Google is increasingly breaking its own traditions: Android 16 should be available in early June, and the Pixel 9a was announced in March - two months earlier than the Pixel 8a last year.
Another hint is that Google is switching to the new Tensor G5 chip manufactured by TSMC. This is expected to bring a significant performance boost to the Pixel 10.
Given all these signals, the launch of the Pixel 10 series in late June or early July looks quite realistic. Although Google has not confirmed this directly, it seems that the company is planning to make a surprise.
Perhaps it is just a preview for fans, and the main presentation will take place later. Nevertheless, the pace at which Google is shifting its releases to earlier dates suggests that the Pixel 10 announcement is imminent.
Many wondered whether this change would affect the ability of new smartphones to connect to satellites. A new analysis of the Adaptive Connectivity Services code has shown that the Satellite SOS feature will remain in Pixel 10. The code clearly mentions the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL models that will have support for this feature.
