Users of the Galaxy S22 line of smartphones have received confirmation that the One UI 8 firmware on Android 16 will be available on their gadgets.

A banner has been published on Samsung's gadget user community forum which informs that the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra will soon get the One UI 8 beta version.

No specific information has yet been provided by Samsung, but this announcement is interesting in itself, as previously only owners of the flagship S25 series smartphones were invited to test One UI 8, although the Galaxy S22 Ultra with Android 16 pre-installed was mentioned on Geekbench.
