It bends but doesn't break: famous blogger JerryRigEverything tested the strength of the ultra-thin Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
Technoblogger JerryRigEverything, known for his tests that make the heart of electronics connoisseurs ache, tested the strength of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.
Here's What We Know
As a reminder, this is an ultra-thin smartphone with a thickness of only 5.8 mm.
JerryRigEverything did not restrain himself and subjected the gadget to "torture" with fire, scalpel and other improvised means:
- he scratched the display - it didn't take much effort;
- scratched the side edges, ripped out the power button and the side volume control - surprisingly, he managed to put them back in;
- scratched the under-screen fingerprint scanner and it still worked;
- tried to disconnect the camera unit with a scalpel - no luck;
- then I used a lighter, but it didn't do any significant damage to the S25 Edge screen.
After all of these exertions, the smartphone from Samsung continued to work.
The most interesting thing JerryRigEverything left for dessert: he tried to bend the ultra-thin gadget with his hands, and he bent it with force from both sides: he pressed both the screen and the back panel. Galaxy S25 Edge withstood this test!
We can state that the flagship ultra-thin smartphone only seems fragile, in fact Samsung managed to make a strong and reliable gadget.
