A new trailer for Squid Game season 3 was presented at Tudum Festival, and it is one of the creepiest we've ever seen. It is a warning that the finale of the most popular Netflix show will be really dramatic and unpredictable.
Here's What We Know
We see the return of Player 456. We also see two deadly games, including a maze and a tug-of-war game with two dolls, and of course, even more blood.
In two stunning scenes, we see the Frontman taking off his mask in front of someone and Gi-hoon in a tuxedo, hinting at his next victory. Although, of course, there will be some plot twists (and more than one).
The third season will wrap up the story of Netflix's most popular show, and judging by this new trailer, we can expect a dramatic finale - especially considering how few details have been revealed.
Picking up after the conclusion of Squid Game season 2, season 3 will show Player 456 at his worst. But the Squid Game doesn't stop for anyone, so Gi-hoon will be forced to make some important choices in the face of overwhelming despair as he and the surviving players will be drawn into even more deadly games that will test everyone's resolve, according to Netflix's synopsis.
"In the case of Season 3, I wanted to present games that could really show the lowest common denominator of human beings because the series itself is reaching its climax," the series creator previously told Entertainment Weekly. "I wanted very intense games to bring out the lowest parts of human nature."
Season 3 of Squid Game is available on Netflix on 27 June. Get ready for the last, most brutal round!
