A new record for foldable smartphones: the flagship Honor Magic V5 will get a 6100mAh battery
New information about the flagship foldable smartphone Honor Magic V5, which is expected to be presented at the end of June, has appeared in the network.
Here's What We Know
Recently, the Vivo X Fold 5 smartphone with a battery of 6000 mAh was presented, which is an excellent indicator for foldable gadgets. However, the novelty from Honor can surpass this result.
A social media user asked insider Panda is Bald if the Honor Magic V5's battery will be bigger than that of the Vivo X Fold 5, and the informant replied that "it will be bigger by 100", meaning that its capacity will be 6100 mAh.
From other leaks, we know that the Honor Magic V5 will feature an 8″ foldable screen and an external 6.45″ LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will get a 50MP primary sensor with optical stabilisation, an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 200MP periscopic telephoto camera.
The gadget will be sold with Android 15 with Magic 9.0 shell and will offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, wireless charging support, satellite connectivity and IPX8 protection.
