James Bond has reminded himself: studio IO Interactive has published the first 007 First Light art and will unveil the game as early as this week
Danish studio IO Interactive - the author of the popular Hitman franchise - announced a spy action game codenamed Project 007 back in 2021, and since then the game has been mentioned only in rare interviews, without providing any specific information. And today, finally, James Bond has reminded about himself!

IO Interactive published the first art of the new game about the adventures of the famous British super agent and announced its official title - 007 First Light.

The developers have intrigued with the announcement that the game's unveiling will take place as early as this week, let's assume it's the Summer Game Fest opening ceremony, which kicks off on 7 June at 00:00 (CEST).
IO Interactive' s official website has published a brief reminder that 007 First Light will offer a completely standalone story, unrelated to other media projects in the series. Previously, the developers reported that the game won't have as much leeway as Hitman, as the game designers are focusing on cinematic and narrative. The studio hopes that they will be able to release a trilogy of James Bond games.
