The Outer Worlds 2 release date will be revealed as early as this week: a reputable insider is confident and has revealed the satirical RPG's pre-order bonuses
Xbox Games Showcase 2025 will take place on the 8th of June, immediately after which there will be a special presentation dedicated to The Outer Worlds 2. Obsidian studio is expected to reveal important features of the new RPG, but insider billbil-kun believes that there will be a more important announcement.
Here's What We Know
The French journalist has no doubt that at the show the developers will announce the release date of The Outer Worlds 2, and immediately after that will open pre-orders. The insider does not yet have any information about when the game will be released, but he did reveal what bonuses gamers will receive for early purchase of The Outer Worlds 2.
According to billbil-kun the pre-order includes the Commander Zane Battle Pack, which will include Zane's armour, his pistol and dagger, and his pet drone Ed. Obsidian hasn't mentioned any Zane so far, perhaps it's one of the important new characters or even a member of the protagonist's team.
The Xbox Games Showcase kicks off on 8 June at 19:00 (CEST).
The Outer Worlds 2 will be available on PC (Steam, Battle.net), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series (including Xbox Game Pass Ultimate).
