Strange events before the release: two top managers of GTA clone MindsEye leave the studio a week before the game's launch
On the eve of the release of the MindsEye game by Build a Rocket Boy, a rather strange event happened. Two of the studio's top executives left the company just a week before the game's launch. This information, revealed by former Chief Legal Officer Riley Grebner via his LinkedIn profile, makes us wonder about the internal situation in the studio.
Here's What We Know
In addition to Riley Grebner, Paul Bland, the former chief financial officer, also left the studio. He worked at Build a Rocket Boy for two years. As expected, the news of the departure of two top managers so close to the game's release caused concern among players, as such departures are extremely unusual at this stage of development.
It is worth reminding that MindsEye, which is created by a former GTA producer, has not even been released yet and already has an ambitious development plan for 10 years. However, it is now questionable whether the first game will be even slightly successful, let alone any long-term plans.
MindsEye will be released on 10 June on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
