Techland has officially confirmed its presence with Dying Light: The Beast at Summer Game Fest on the sixth of June. Not only will we see a demonstration of new gameplay, but also the long-awaited announcement of the release date of this survival horror project.

Here's What We Know

Instead of continuing the story of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, The Beast is a game that marks the return of Kyle Crane, the protagonist of the first game. It was believed that Crane was dead, but in fact he was subjected to horrific experiments for 13 years and then escaped to the Castor Woods. The former tourist destination is now crawling with the dead, so you'll have to think fast and use parkour to survive.

Crane can now use the zombie DNA inside of him to unlock new abilities, but he still needs to be careful at night when the most dangerous infected go on the prowl. Dying Light: The Beast is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC this summer, including a four-player co-op mode.
