Epic video from SBU: Ukrainian drones destroy russian strategic aviation
On 1 June, as usual, the Russian media stated, absolutely falsely, that the attack by Ukrainian drones on military airfields had been repelled and "only a few aircraft were damaged". Of course, objective control footage said otherwise, but this is no reason for propagandists to admit the grandiose failure of their own special services.
Here's What We Know
President Zelensky immediately stated that 41 aircraft were hit as part of Operation Web, which is 34% of russia's strategic aviation, and today the Security Service of Ukraine showed an epic video of "units" of aircraft burning.
The footage shows drones landing unhindered on the most vulnerable parts of unique and expensive aircraft, including two of the rarest A-50s, which are the "eyes" and "ears" of the army.
Separately, we would like to note that the tyres, with which the planes were carefully covered, not only did not save them, but also added, so to speak, heat.
