Ford Focus ST retires without a successor
For 45 years, Ford has produced sporty versions of its hatchbacks. That era is officially coming to an end.

Ford Motor Company Europe has confirmed to Motor1 that it is no longer taking orders for the new Focus ST.
"All orders for the Focus ST until the end of production have already been reserved," said the company's European communications manager Finn Thomasen. He also clarified that it is a matter of configuring personalised orders. However, in most European markets, it is still possible to buy finished cars from stock.

As previously reported, production of the Focus and its derivatives will cease in November this year. After that, only crossovers, pickups, SUVs, various MPVs and Mustang will remain in the model range. There will be no regular hatchbacks, sedans or station wagons.
