Galaxy S25 Ultra takes on shrapnel and saves the life of a Ukrainian soldier
When commercials talk about "reliability in the most extreme conditions", most of us shrug our shoulders. But there are stories that make these phrases no longer sound like marketing. In May, a Ukrainian serviceman shared a testimonial on the official Samsung Ukraine website that sent shivers down his spine.
According to him, during an enemy shelling, a fragment hit his Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which he was carrying. The screen was shattered, but the fragment was stuck in the titanium body of the smartphone and did not reach his body. The gadget literally became a shield that took the blow.

Reliability is not just a word, I have experienced it for myself
According to the military man, the phone lasted just over three weeks, but managed to do the most important thing - save a life. Although the body of the smartphone is not actually made of titanium, there is a layer of titanium that reinforces the frame and makes the structure strong.
To prove it, here's a photo of the smartphone with a hole in the middle of the display, which is posted next to the review.

Below the review of the soldier (we know only what he left in the review on the website - he is between 25 and 34 years old, worked as a programmer in Rivne before joining the Armed Forces), there is a comment from Samsung customer support offering to get in touch. According to the press service of Samsung in Ukraine, the smartphone is already at the Samsung service centre, where it will be repaired and all damaged components will be replaced free of charge.
