Square Enix fulfils fans' dream: a remaster of the cult RPG Final Fantasy Tactics has been announced

Jason Schreier'shint has been fully confirmed - at State of Play Square Enix has indeed announced a remaster of the cult RPG Final Fantasy Tactics, which is rightfully considered one of the best parts of the legendary series.
Here's What We Know
The updated game is subtitled The Ivalice Chronicles and does not provide significant changes in gameplay, it remains classic and based on complex turn-based battles, in which the abilities of each character play an important role.
In Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, players will be able to switch between two modes:
- classic with the original visuals and gameplay, but with improved localisation;
- modern mode with improved graphics, refined interface, a number of innovations, minor plot changes and fully voiced dialogues.
When We Can Expect It
Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will release on 30 September on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.
