Snapchat is now available on Apple Watch
Snap has officially launched the new Snapchat app for Apple Watch. From now on, users of the popular social network will be able to view and reply to messages right from their wrists without taking out their phones.
Here's What We Know
The app supports all the main ways to enter text on Apple Watch: the built-in keyboard, Scribble (when you draw letters with your finger), and voice dictation. In addition, users can send emojis, just like in any other messenger for Apple Watch.
Snap emphasises that it is committed to making Snapchat available on all devices used by its users, including wearable electronics such as the Apple Watch.
In recent years, many large companies have refused to develop apps for Apple Watch due to the platform's low popularity. Previously, services such as Slack, Facebook Messenger, Uber, and Lyft had apps for the Apple Watch, but later they were removed due to unjustified support costs.
In 2024, Snapchat announced a significant design update for the first time in many years and introduced several new AI features. The new interface, called Simple Snapchat, now includes three tabs: "Chat, Camera, and For You.
