Bethesda and id Software released the first major patch for the shooter DOOM: The Dark Ages.

Here's What We Know

Update 1 is available on all platforms and includes bug fixes, including those related to achievements and difficulty levels, balance improvements and sound adjustments.

The authors have balanced music and sound effects on several levels and disabled visual effects when sprinting, if it is activated by default.
