Casio has released the new LF-30W-1A watch in several more European countries - now the model is available for purchase in the Netherlands, Spain and Germany.

Here's What We Know

The main visual feature of the new model is the world map screen, which distinguishes it from the models of the previous LF-20W line.

The LF-30W-1A retains the familiar square black polymer case, supports time display in four time zones, and is equipped with a stopwatch with 1/100th of a second accuracy, 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms, and amber LED backlight. The model is also splash-resistant and has a battery life of up to three years on a replaceable CR1616 battery.

The main difference is the display: the bottom of the screen shows the time, day of the week and date, and in the upper right corner there is a map showing the active time zone. There are also indicators for the alarm, hourly signal and silent mode functions.

In Europe, the LF-30W-1A is available for €34.90 via the official Casio online store. The other variants of the model - blue LF-30W-2, green LF-30W-3A and white LF-30W-8A - are not yet available in the European market.

As a reminder, the new Casio G-Shock GBA-950 with GPS is already available in Europe. This update to the well-known GBA-900 line, which was launched in 2021, has a more compact and comfortable design, as well as features aimed at runners and active users.
