Hisense is preparing to release the M2 Pro Laser Mini Projector, its smallest and lightest laser projector, which will soon be available globally, including in the US, Germany, and Australia.

Here's What We Know

This compact 4K projector features a Pure Color Laser light source and various AI tools for image enhancement.

The M2 Pro supports 4K resolution and can project images up to 200 inches (about 508 cm) with a distance ratio of 1.0-1.3. It has automatic keystone correction, autofocus, and seven wall colour adaptation modes for accurate colour reproduction even on non-white backgrounds. AI functions include 4K Clarity, 4K Upscaler and HDR Upscaler.

The projector runs on the Vidaa Smart OS platform and supports popular streaming services such as YouTube, Netflix and Disney+. It supports Dolby Vision, various HDR formats, Dolby Audio and DTS:Virtual X. The set comes with a voice remote control.

So far, the company has not disclosed the weight, dimensions, brightness level, and price of the device, but the estimated cost may be around $1,800-2,000, given the price of the previous Hisense C2 model.

The exact release date is not yet known, but the device is promised to be presented in the near future.
