Samsung changes priorities: the company will not improve the cameras of its smartphones before the release of Galaxy S28
Almost every generation of Samsung smartphones offered improved cameras, which was one of the main advantages of Korean gadgets. But it became known that in the near future the company will abandon the constant improvement of cameras.
Here's What We Know
Android Headlines portal shared information from its own sources, according to which the cameras in Samsung smartphones will not receive significant improvements until the release of the Galaxy S28.
This decision is due to the fact that at the moment the manufacturer is focused on creating thin gadgets and trying to reduce production costs. Thus, the Galaxy S26 and even the Galaxy S27 Ultra will not offer users new opportunities in photo and video shooting, and the sensors, periscopes and other components will remain at the level of the current models for several years.
However, Samsung will improve the software component of its cameras and expand their AI capabilities.
