Apple has set a new trend: Xiaomi's next firmware is rumoured to be called HyperOS 26
Recently it became known that Apple Forget iOS 19: Apple's new firmware will be called iOS 26 and will usher in a new number system next versions of its operating systems and, for example, iOS 19 will be called iOS 26.
It seems that the largest Chinese company Xiaomi will resort to a similar unification.

Portal XiaomiTime shared information that the manufacturer of popular gadgets also plans to change the naming of its operating system and rename the future update of HyperOS 3 to HyperOS 26 (based on Android 16).
The company also, like Apple, wants to make the order in which updates are released more clear and obvious so that users always know what firmware version they have installed.
Xiaomi has not yet officially confirmed these plans, but they are absolutely logical, moreover, it is likely that other operating system developers will join this trend.
