The first trailer of Gears of War: Reloaded! The updated game demonstrates excellent graphics and great details
At Xbox Games Showcase 2025 Microsoft and The Coalition studio presented the first trailer of the remaster of the famous shooter Gears of War, which was announced in early May.
Here's What We Know
Gameplay footage of Gears of War: Reloaded showed that the authors have done a great job of updating the cult game of 2006, thanks to which it is even possible to say that in front of us is partly a remake, not a remaster. Graphics and detailing have reached a qualitatively different level, and the performance of modern platforms allows to get even more pleasure from brutal and dynamic gameplay of Gears of War.
Let us remind you that the following improvements are announced in the updated game:
- 4K resolution;
- 60 FPS in story campaign;
- 120 FPS in multiplayer mode;
- support for HDR, Dolby Vision and 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos and 3D sound;
- VRR technology support;
- 4K assets and enhanced textures;
- enhanced visual effects, shadows and reflections;
- super resolution with improved anti-aliasing;
- no loading screens during the story campaign;
- cross-play and cross-progression on all platforms.
When We Can Expect It
Gears of War: Reloaded will be released on the 26th of August. The game will be released not only on PC and Xbox Series, but also for the first time in the history of the series will appear on PlayStation. The shooter will be available on Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming (with Xbox Play Anywhere) from day one.
