The Italian company Automobili Pininfarina has unveiled the latest copy of the Battista electric supercar. The car was named Novantacinque - "ninety-five" in Italian.

Here's What We Know

95 in this case is a reference to the 95th anniversary of the Pininfarina atelier, celebrated this year. Here it should be clarified that since 2015 Pininfarina is owned by the Indian company Mahindra Mahindra. In 2018, it created the Automobili Pininfarina car company on the basis of the body atelier, and its debut model was the Battista electric supercar. The latter is built on the platform of the Croatian company Rimac and is actually a close relative of the Rimac Nevera supercar.

A total of 150 copies of the Pininfarina Battista are to be produced. This number includes several unique cars including the Gotham, Dark Knight and Targamerica. The final Novantacinque example also features original elements. The two-tone, red-and-black bodywork is coated with a clear lacquer through which the weave of the carbon fibre panels can be seen. Gold-coloured inserts along the contour of the aerodynamic cladding and on the rear side of the active fender add a special touch of glamour to the bodywork. The interior is covered with black leather and alcantara in combination with gold thread.

The Pininfarina Battista Novantacinque has standard equipment: four electric motors produce a total of 1900 hp. Acceleration from a place to 100 km/h takes less than 2 seconds, maximum speed - more than 350 km/h. A full charge of 120 kWh battery is enough for 500 kilometres of driving under the WLTP cycle.

The price of the Battista Novantacinque is not disclosed. The standard Battista cost from two million euros.
