It's getting closer and closer: Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released BEFORE the Christmas holidays of 2025
Fans of Hollow Knight: Silksong fans, get ready for some good news that may radically change your expectations. It turns out that we have received a little more information about the long-awaited sequel than it seemed at first glance after the Xbox Games Showcase. Team Cherry has confirmed that the game is scheduled for release in time for the 2025 Christmas season. This means that we have much less time to wait than many expected.
Here's What We Know
Although Silksong didn't get a full trailer during the presentation, it was briefly shown when Xbox unveiled its two new portable consoles, mentioning that Silksong "will be available at launch when Ally launches later this year". The two portable consoles are due out this Christmas season (i.e., around Christmas) in select markets, but we can expect Silksong to arrive earlier.
The marketing and publishing officer of Hollow Knight studio Team Cherry, said on Discord that the game will be released before Christmas, and the team is not tied to the console release.
The full release date is not yet available, but it is not as long to wait as it seems.
