If you didn't see enough in the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach trailers, the Game Premiere Event organised by Kojima Productions and Geoff Keighley revealed a lot of new details. Hideo Kojima himself shared fresh details about how players will be able to call the DHV Magellan after installing the Hiral Network and watch his crew's progress throughout the game.

Here's What We Know

Gameplay snippets from the beginning of the game were also shown, with Sam and Lou travelling through the Mexican mountain range. While you may encounter spider-like Chiral creatures wandering around, they can be avoided (with the music naturally changing to guide you). Earthquakes have been demonstrated and depending on their strength, you need to freeze completely to stay on your feet.

In snowy regions, you will have to deal with avalanches, but both phenomena have the same effect - they significantly change the map. This means that the world will constantly evolve and adapt to events, creating unique situations for each player. Next, Kojima switched to another part of the game, where Sam goes to another world to fight Neil and his soldiers. You can choose a stealth approach to take down each soldier and even shoot Neil from the back, even though he teleports.

A variety of weapons were demonstrated, from assault rifles and shotguns to a grenade launcher, which shows the expansion of Sam's combat capabilities. The environment itself is stunning, with large-scale fires, burning towers, fireworks and sparklers, creating an incredible visual atmosphere and further immersing you in a strange but fascinating world.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is out on 26 June for PS5.
