You can get ready for next year: Gears of War: E-Day, new Forza, and Fable will be released in 2026
Xbox Games Showcase was a real explosion of announcements. From the release date of The Outer Worlds 2 to the unexpected announcement of Persona 4 Revival (a remake of Persona 4), the event was packed with news. However, despite this, fans noticed the absence of some long-awaited games from internal studios, such as Fable, new Gears and Forza. So when can we expect them?
Here's What We Know
Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer did provide some updates. During the presentation, he confirmed the launch of Fable for 2026, along with Gears of War: E-Day (previously rumoured) and the next Forza.
What is most interesting is Forza - Spencer did not specify whether it is the new Forza Horizon or the new Forza Motorsport.
It is possible that Microsoft is preparing separate presentations for these projects, or that their development takes more time. Either way, the announcements we've already received point to a busy two years for Xbox.
