Dune: Awakening and Deltarune are new leaders in Steam sales chart
Over the past week, the Steam sales chart has seen huge changes and several high-profile new releases from June have broken into the top 10.
Here's What We Know
The leader in terms of revenue among paid games was the ambitious survival simulator Dune: Awakening, the full release of which took place today. The game is getting great reviews and is extremely popular, which is not surprising as the developers from Funcom have done a great job.
In second place was the indie game Deltarune from a developer by the nickname tobyfox, who rose to fame after the release of Undertale in 2015. Deltarune is as deep and unusual game, which is confirmed by 98% of positive reviews.
Elden Ring Nightreign, a co-operative action game that sold over 3.5 million copies in four days, rounds out the top three.
The popularity of Lies of P: Overture is also not to be overlooked - the standalone add-on was released three days ago and is not only selling well, but has also brought back interest in the original 2023 game.
The highly regarded RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is still holding its own, even though it is already only in 10th place.
