A new patch has been released for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has a new patch that makes interesting changes to the game's balance.

Here's What We Know

The main feature of this update is the balance, or rather, the difficulty balance. Firstly, the easiest difficulty level of the game, Story Mode, has become much easier. Parry and evasion windows have been significantly increased, while incoming damage from enemies has been halved.

Expedition 33 can be deceptively difficult even in Story Mode, so it seems that developer Sandfall Interactive wants to make sure that the game is even more accessible to a wider range of players.

In addition, more experienced explorers can now play with the new Challenge Modifiers, which are unlocked in the third act. Players will be able to customise their own damage output and the health of their opponents. This makes it possible to create truly hardcore challenges for those looking for maximum difficulty.
