No miracle: GTA creators' action game MindsEye drowns in gamers' criticism
The release of futuristic action game MindsEye - the debut game of Build a Rocket Boy studio, which was founded by former Rockstar producer and ideologist Leslie Benzies.
Here's What We Know
Long before its release the game was heavily criticised: neither gamers nor journalists believed in its success and noted huge technical problems, but MindsEye developers remained optimistic and assured that all the negativity is custom-made and paid by competitors.
But in the end everything fell into place and we have to admit that there was no miracle: the game turned out to be really low quality, it has outdated animation, weak artificial intelligence, terrible physics, primitive shooting, and the graphics, at best, is at an average level.
The situation is somewhat improved by the entourage of the high-tech city of Redrock and the authors' attempt to offer a serious story, but globally it doesn't save MindsEye, which is proved by 42% of positive reviews in Steam. And the popularity of the game clearly does not add to the developers' good mood - the peak online in Steam barely exceeded 3000 people.
The game is so "successful" that there are no critics' reviews on aggregators.
Some players note that MindsEye still has a good potential, but whether the authors will be able to reveal it - a big question.

MindsEye is available on PC, PS5 Xbox Series.
