Samsung has started rolling out the June 2025 security update for its new Galaxy A56 smartphone.

Here's What We Know

The patch fixes 19 vulnerabilities in Samsung's software and addresses dozens of high-risk vulnerabilities in the Android operating system. The update is initially available for the SM-A566B model, which is sold in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Samsung continues to actively update its devices compatible with the One UI 7 interface, but the company does not forget about user security. The June update guarantees improved data protection, which is especially important in the face of growing cyber threats.

How to update

To update the Galaxy A56, users just need to go to the phone's settings: "Settings", "Software update", "Download and install". It is recommended to connect to a stable Wi-Fi network and back up important data to avoid losing it.

This time, Samsung has not added any new features to the Galaxy A56, but has focused solely on fixing security issues. The update improves the overall security of the device, reducing the risk of personal data leakage and malware attacks.

Other compatible Samsung models will receive a similar update in the coming days, but the company has not yet announced the exact list of devices and release dates.

Galaxy A56 has a new camera design inspired by the Galaxy Fold series. Now the three lenses are located in a single elongated block, not separately, as in previous models. The company announced the gadget on 2 March 2025.
