"Historical" collaboration: Age of Empires developers will hold a joint event with the Louvre!
In video games there are more and more frequent collaborations not only between various popular franchises, but also with other, often quite unexpected, partners.
A few days ago, we reported that the French studio Dontnod in the development of the adventure game Aphelion Professional help: European Space Agency advises Dontnod in the development of the adventure game Aphelion, and in the game, representatives of this organisation will go to a distant planet.
Now it became known about even more unexpected cooperation between the authors of the popular series of historical strategies Age of Empires and ... Louvre!
Here's What We Know
World's Edge Studios, Xbox and Louvre have teamed up for a unique project dedicated to the Mamelukes.
As part of the collaboration, the PC game developers are supporting a large-scale exhibition dedicated to the Mamluk Sultanate, its history and cultural heritage.

The developers have also prepared a special scenario dedicated to the Mamelukes and the Battle of Ayn Jalut, which can be downloaded for free on PC from the Age of Empires website.
