Musk is determined: Tesla to launch testing of autonomous robot taxi on 22 June
Elon Musk long walked to the launch of a robotaxi from Tesla and in June the dream of the odious billionaire may come true.
Here's What We Know
Musk said that on 22 June in Austin, Texas Tesla will start testing public rides in robotic cars Model Y with the latest version of Full Self-Driving.
There will be 10-20 cars travelling along certain routes, which the user can summon via a special app. During the journey there will be no driver in the cabin, but safety will be remotely monitored by an operator.
On 28 June, a demonstration autonomous drive will take place from the Tesla factory to the customer's home.
Tentatively, June 22.

We are being super paranoid about safety, so the date could shift.
First Tesla that drives itself from factory end of line all the way to a customer house is June 28.
Musk doesn't rule out that these dates could change for various reasons, but in any case, the launch of the robotic taxi will be an important step not only for Tesla, but for the entire development of unmanned transport.
