FBC: Firebreak won't be out of print for long - Remedy will release two major free add-ons before the end of 2025
Remedy Entertainment promises free content support for co-op shooter FBC: Firebreak until at least 2026 and now it's been revealed what players can expect.
Here's What We Know
Finnish developers have published a roadmap for FBC: Firebreak, from which it became known that the game will receive two major free updates during 2025.
The first update, codenamed Outbreak, will be released in autumn and will add the "Research Sector" location and several missions related to it. The game will feature new mechanics, enemies and free rewards. A paid set of Classified Requisition cosmetic items is also announced.
The second content update will be released in winter and is codenamed Blackout and will add a new (still secret) location, additional equipment, unseen enemies and another set of free rewards. And Classified Requisition will offer another set of paid cosmetic items as part of the series.
The developers emphasise that all paid content is limited to cosmetics only, so that all players will be on an equal footing.
The launch of FBC: Firebreak is just the beginning. Have a look at what the post-launch roadmap will look like.
