The Galaxy Buds Controller app mentions two new models of Samsung wireless headphones - Galaxy Buds 3 FE (SM-R420) and Galaxy Buds Core (SM-R410). This is the first appearance of the new models in Samsung's proprietary application, which actually confirms their development.

Here's What We Know

There have been leaks about the Buds Core before, but the Buds 3 FE model is a novelty that was not known before. It seems to be the successor to the Galaxy Buds FE. It seems that Samsung decided to skip the Buds 2 FE name to bring all models to the same format: Buds 3, Buds 3 Pro and Buds 3 FE.

No technical specifications are specified in the application. However, according to preliminary data, the Galaxy Buds Core will receive a case with a 500 mAh battery and headphones with 60 mAh batteries.

It is expected that the headphones may be presented in the summer, probably together with Galaxy Fold 7 and the new generation of Galaxy Watch. If the headphones have already been mentioned in proprietary software, the announcement is not far off.

In May, insiders reported that the estimated price of Galaxy Buds Core could be around $100, which is about the same as its predecessor. And each headphone will receive a 100 mAh battery, and the charging case will have a 500 mAh battery. For comparison, the Buds FE had a 60 mAh battery and a 479 mAh charging case.
