Xgimi has officially launched its new MoGo 4 Series line of portable projectors, which includes the basic MoGo 4 and the premium MoGo 4 Laser. Both new products have already been sold in China under the Play 6 name, and are now available on the global market.

Here's What We Know

The MoGo 4 supports Full HD (1080p) resolution, 450 ISO lumens brightness, and image projection up to 120 inches. It is equipped with a pair of 6W Harman/Kardon speakers, a 360-degree adjustable stand, and runs on the Google TV platform with official Netflix support. The device also features gesture controls for changing interchangeable filters: the basic Sunset is included in the package, while Ripple, Dreamscape and Lunar are sold separately.

The projector can work as a Bluetooth speaker with dynamic backlighting. The built-in battery lasts for 2.5 hours of video or 6 hours of music, and with the optional PowerBase stand, the viewing time doubles.

The flagship MoGo 4 Laser uses a three-laser system to deliver 550 ISO lumens of brightness and 110% coverage of the BT.2020 colour space. The projector has a high contrast ratio of 1000:1 and an elegant design with a transparent base and aluminium side inserts. All four creative filters for image modification are included.

Both projectors support HDMI ARC, USB, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, autofocus, and auto-leveling.

The MoGo 4 costs $449 / £509, and the MoGo 4 Laser version costs $719 / £679. A PowerBase kit for the base model retails for $494, and an extended kit with the Laser version and outdoor screen retails for $809.
