They succeeded! MindsEye is the worst game of 2025 according to Metacritic
The failure of futuristic action game MindsEye from former Rockstar producer and ideologist Leslie Benzies was predictable and even boring to discuss.
The debut project of Build a Rocket Boy studio came out in such a terrible technical condition that Sony even returns the money for its purchase, and the Japanese company resorts to such a decision only in the most critical cases.

Well, MindsEye has one more dubious "achievement": it became the worst game of 2025 according to Metacritic.
Now the PC-version has 43 points and this puts the game on a par with such "masterpieces" as Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash (2024) (44 points), The Lord of the Rings: Gollum (2023) (34 points), Postal 4: No Regrets (2022)(30 points).
The developers from Build A Rocket Boy have solemnly promised to fix all the flaws of MindsEye and have already released several patches, but whether this can save the game, whose only advantage is a good atmosphere of the high-tech city of Redrock, is a big question.
MindsEye is available on PC, PS5 Xbox Series.
