It's official: Donald Trump's family has launched its own mobile operator and offers a "patriotic" T1 smartphone
A few hours ago it became known that the Trump family applied for the use of the brands "Trump" and "T1" for telecommunications, smartphones and mobile accessories. We did not have to wait long for clarification and new business plans of the US President have already become known.
The Trump Organisation team presented a "golden" smartphone T1 and a mobile operator Trump Mobile.
Here's What We Know
Trump Mobile supports 5G and works on the networks of major mobile operators. Both physical SIM cards and E-SIMs are available to buyers.
For now, only one plan is offered for $47.45 per month, which includes unlimited calls and internet, free calls for military personnel to 100 countries and telemedicine services.
As for the T1 smartphone, it won't compete with Apple or Samsung flagships.
The smartphone is positioned as "made in the USA" and symbolises "American values", which according to Trump's idea should emphasise the image of the American flag on the back.
The gadget has a matte gold finish.
Specifications of the T1 Phone:
- 6.78″ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate;
- 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, the chip is yet to be revealed;
- 50MP main camera, 16MP front camera, macro lens and depth sensor;
- battery: 5000 mAh, fast charging;
- OS: Android 15.
Pre-orders for the T1 Phone are already open, with shipments of the device expected in September.
The smartphone will cost $499.
