The Vespa Officina 8 recalled the early years of the Italian scooter maker
Piaggio has unveiled the Vespa Officina 8 scooter. The model name is a reference to the Officina 8 experimental workshop at the Piaggio factory in Pontedera. Since the late 1940s, designers, engineers, mechanics and metalworkers have been putting their most daring ideas into metal there. Many specialists joined the company from the aviation industry in the post-war years.
