More details on cancelled Damian Wayne and older Bruce Wayne Batman game revealed thanks to new concept art
Before Gotham Knights was released, Warner Bros. Games Montreal had several other ambitious games in development that, unfortunately, never made it to release. Among them is a direct sequel to Arkham Knight in the style of Batman Beyond, where Batman was supposed to be played by... Damian Wayne, his son.
Here's What We Know
While some concept art related to these cancelled games leaked last year thanks to concept artist Goran Bukvic, who only noted that they were for a "cancelled game," a new batch was recently discovered on ArtStation. Created by Rodrigue Pralier, who now works at Free Range Games, these illustrations were "early research" for a "cancelled 2015 project". They include an older-looking Bruce Wayne, Killer Croc, and Huntress.
What looks like Damian is also in the spotlight, dressed in the signature Batman costume. This Batman title would also reportedly introduce the daughter of Black Mask, a reborn Poison Ivy and even Two-Face as The Judge, his more extreme, law-abiding form.
It's a little sad to see such ideas remain only in concept art, though.
