Chinese company Unihertz has put on Kickstarter an unusual smartphone Titan 2, which combines the developments of modern gadgets with a nostalgic design.

Here's What We Know

The main feature of the Titan 2 is a physical QWERTY keyboard, inspired by the classic BlackBerry: it has a full set of keys and will allow you to type text as it was done by "ancient people" before the advent of touch screens.

The smartphone gets:

  • a square 4.5″ display with a resolution of 1440×1440 pixels at 120 Hz;
  • an additional 2″ screen on the back for notifications and selfies;
  • 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset;
  • 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage;
  • 5050 mAh battery with 33W fast charging;
  • cameras: 50MP main, 8MP telephoto lens and 32MP front;
  • Android 15, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, IR port, FM radio and dual-band GPS.

The smartphone supports gestures, customisable actions and haptic feedback.

The device weighs 235g and is 10.85mm thick. The smartphone is already available for pre-order on Kickstarter with prices starting at $269, and will retail for around $399. Deliveries will start in October 2025.
