Samsung announces 32-inch Smart Monitor M9 with QD-OLED display and AI support
Samsung has presented an updated line of smart monitors, which includes the flagship Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF), as well as updated models M8 (M80F) and M7 (M70F). The main novelty is the use of a QD-OLED display in the M9 model, as well as advanced AI-based features across the entire line.

The monitor also supports smart features such as streaming services, Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming and Samsung TV Plus - all without a PC connection.
What the M8 and M7 offer
The updated M8 and M7 models have 4K UHD VA panels and built-in AI features, including Click to Search for quick information searching right from the screen. The models also support SmartThings, Multi View, and PC-free integration with Microsoft 365.
Why it matters.
Samsung shows that a monitor is no longer just a screen for a computer. The new M9 is actually a hybrid of TV, work tool and entertainment centre, with QD-OLED quality and smart features on par with modern gadgets.
For the first time, Samsung is integrating QD-OLED into a smart monitor, which means better contrast, deeper blacks and brighter colours without the typical problems of OLED displays. Add to this AI support that automatically improves the picture and sound to suit the content and conditions, and you have a device that adapts to the user.
This is a signal to the market: monitors are becoming autonomous devices that no longer need to be connected to a PC to work, create content, watch movies or play cloud games. This is a trend towards combining all screens in one solution - flexible, smart and autonomous.
When and how much
All three models - M9, M8 and M7 - with a diagonal of 32 inches will go on sale worldwide from June 2025. Samsung promises up to 7 years of One UI Tizen updates, which will allow users to receive new features and services for many years. Pricing has not yet been officially announced.
The monitors are positioned as universal devices for work, entertainment and gaming - in fact, it is a hybrid of a computer, TV and gaming display in one case.
