The Google Calendar app is now available on Apple Watch, but it's limited in what it can do
Google has released the official Calendar app for Apple Watch - users of Apple's smart watch can now view their events and tasks directly on the wrist-worn gadget.
Here's What We Know
"Calendar" became the fourth application from Google for watchOS and offers a user-friendly interface: events are displayed in the form of cards with colour coding, time, name and location of the meeting. A weekly overview and a list of current dates in the top right corner of the screen are also available.
However, its functionality is still limited - you can't create new events or reminders from the watch. The app works exclusively in view mode, making it more of an iPhone companion than a full-fledged scheduling tool.
Google Calendar for Apple Watch is already available for download on the App Store.
