The story of Resident Evil Re: Verse is over - Capcom has shut down the servers of the failed online action game
Server outages for many online games often upset gamers, but today is clearly not the case, as Capcom has decided to discontinue funzioning Resident Evil Re: Verse.
Here's What We Know
The online horror game was released in 2022 and tried to become a worthy competitor to Dead by Daylight, offering Resident Evil fans to clash in multiplayer battles with their favourite characters of the franchise. However, due to its poor technical condition and unrequired concept, the game failed and quickly lost even the few audience it had managed to gain.
Today Capcom implemented the decision made in February and permanently disabled the servers of Resident Evil Re: Verse, as the game was rarely visited by more than 20 people.
The Japanese company thanked the public for their attention and support.
As of today, Monday, June 30, the "Resident Evil RE:VERSE" RE NET page will be closed.
