Insiders publish dimensions and renders of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7
Ahead of the official announcement, which is expected next week, a well-known Setsuna Digital insider has shared the preliminary dimensions of Samsung's new foldable smartphones - Galaxy Fold7 and Galaxy Flip7. These devices promise to be the thinnest and lightest among the brand's flexible phones.
Here's What We Know
According to the published data, Galaxy Fold7 will be 8.9 mm thick when folded and only 4.2 mm when unfolded. If these figures are confirmed, the new product will be ahead of the leader - Vivo X Fold5 - in this parameter. The thickness of the latter is 9.2 mm when folded and 4.3 mm when unfolded, with a weight of 217 grams. In addition, Galaxy Fold7 has a reinforced aluminium body and a glass ceramic back panel.

The lead in the world's thinnest foldable smartphone may be short-lived, as Honor is preparing the Magic V5, which will be even thinner when folded (8.8 mm) and will also be launched in the near future.
As for the Galaxy Flip7, it will be 13.7 mm thick when folded and 6.5 mm when unfolded, weighing 188 grams. With these dimensions, it will be the thinnest flip phone on the market.
Additionally, insider Evan Blass published official renders of the new models, which confirm the updated elegant design with thinner bezels and sleek lines.
On 9 July, Samsung will hold a big Galaxy Unpacked presentation.
