Samsung has started rolling out the beta version of One UI 8 for Galaxy Watch smartwatches, offering users an update based on Wear OS 6. The previous version of the Galaxy Watch software ran on Wear OS 5 under One UI 6.

Here's What We Know

The new update brings a number of important new features, including improved health and fitness capabilities.

Among the main innovations is the Bedtime Guidance mode, which helps you better regulate your sleep by suggesting specific actions to improve its quality. The Vascular Load tool has also been added, which assesses the load on blood vessels during sleep. For active users, there is Running Coach, a virtual running coach, as well as Antioxidant Index, which monitors antioxidant levels.

For now, the beta version is only available for Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7. In the future, support will be extended to other models: Galaxy Watch FE, Watch 6, Watch 6 Classic, Watch 5, and Watch 5 Pro. However, Samsung is currently only officially announcing the beta for users in the US and South Korea, with other regions receiving the update later.
