Nintendo has announced a price hike for its products in Canada.

The Japanese manufacturer said that due to "changing market conditions" the cost of Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED and Nintendo Switch Lite, as well as Nintendo Switch Online subscription and popular amiibo figurines will increase.

Analysts have suggested that this decision is due to Trump's duties, but the price of the new Nintendo Switch 2 console will remain unchanged, as well as no announced price hike for last generation consoles in the US.

It is possible that the gadgets will also increase in price in the US market, and perhaps other countries will be affected as well.
