Developers from Nightdive Studios have revealed the release date for System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster on consoles.

Here's What We Know

Recall, on PC updated game of 1999 was released on 26 June, but the authors immediately warned, due to unforeseen difficulties console users will have to wait a couple of weeks.

Now the authors reported that the release of System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and Switch will take place on 10 July.

Recall, unlike the highly praised remake of the first part, System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary is only a remaster and offers small improvements in graphics and visual effects, as well as adaptation of the game for modern platforms, while the developers will not make significant changes to gameplay mechanics, leaving them as close to the original.

Those who pre-ordered the remake of the first part of System Shock (2023) will get System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster for free as a bonus.
