Marshall's new Middleton II Bluetooth speaker lasts 30 hours without a charge
Marshall has introduced the Middleton II, an updated version of its compact portable speaker: more powerful sound, 360° stereo, IP67 waterproofing and 30+ hours of battery life.

Marshall Middleton II is built on the classic rock brand design, available in Black Brass or Cream colours, with a distinctive retro aesthetic. But underneath the shell is state-of-the-art stuffing: a 60W Class D amplifier for two 76mm woofers and 20W for a pair of 15mm tweeters, delivering deep, spacious 'True Stereophonic' sound and volleying bass even at maximum volume.
IP67 dust and water resistance (immersion up to 1 metre for 30 minutes). The rechargeable battery provides over 30 hours of playback on a single charge, and fast charging tops it up in 20 minutes .
The multi-sided unit controls play/pause and song selection, as well as answering calls and volume control. It supports charging the smartphone directly from the speaker.
The updated Middleton is unveiled on 1 July on Marshall's official website at a price of $329, with availability at retail starting 15 July.
