DJI has entered the energy solutions market with a new gadget - DJI Power 2000, a portable power station with a capacity of 2048 Wh. It is capable of powering any equipment: from smartphones to microwaves and electric stoves.

The official price is $1300 in the US (during promotions - from $1100). In Europe, the device costs about €1400.

What DJI Power 2000 can do

This station delivers 3000 watts of constant power, which is enough for 99% of household appliances. You can cook food, charge gadgets, work with lighting and power tools - all in parallel.

The charging speed is impressive:

  • 0-80% in 55 minutes from a power outlet,
  • 75 minutes from solar panels,
  • 145 minutes from the car.

Need more? The system is expandable up to 22,528 Wh with ten additional modules.

How long does the charge last?

  • smartphone - 114 charges,
  • a flashlight - 64 times,
  • coffee maker - 110 minutes of operation,
  • auto fridge - 38 hours,
  • projector - 18 hours,
  • fan - 18 hours.

Power 2000 ports and connectors:

  • 2 x 140W USB-C ports,
  • 2 USB-C ports 65W each,
  • 4 USB-A ports,
  • 4 standard AC sockets

This is enough to connect DJI Power accessories, various solar panels, power cables and adapters for any use case.

Safety and durability

The station uses safe LiFePO₄ batteries that can withstand up to 4000 cycles or 10 years of daily use. The body can withstand drops and pressures of up to 1 tonne, and is protected from water, condensation, and salt spray. It is quiet - the noise level is only 30 dB, which is lower than that of a refrigerator. You can control the station through the DJI Home app to switch outlets, monitor battery charge and status.
