Red Magic Astra Gaming Tablet, a powerful gaming gadget with a wide range of features, has debuted in the global marketplace
Chinese company Nubia has unveiled the Red Magic Astra Gaming Tablet, a compact gadget with great features for fans of mobile gaming. It will be a global version of the Red Magic Table 3 Pro, which debuted in June on the Chinese market.

Red Magic Astra Gaming Tablet is a flagship device with a modern design and top-of-the-line specs that will deliver great performance even in the most resource-intensive games.
Astra Gaming Tablet specifications:
- 9.06″ LTPO OLED display with 2400×1504 p resolution, 165 Hz, HDR support and peak brightness up to 1600 nits;
- Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with active cooling (fan up to 20,000 rpm, liquid metal, evaporation chamber);
- 12, 16 or 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM;
- 256GB, 512GB or 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage;
- 8200 mAh battery capacity with 80W fast charging (0-50% in 20 minutes);
- cameras: 13 MP main, 8 or 9 MP front (different sensors are specified);
- OS: Android 15 with Redmagic OS 10.5 shell and Gemini AI assistant;
- Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (support for external displays up to 8K at 60Hz).
The Astra Gaming Tablet gets inbuilt stereo speakers and dual vibration motors for immersive sound.
On the back of the tablet is a proprietary gaming panel that fulfils several functions:
- Active cooling - an inbuilt fan and heat pipes help reduce CPU temperatures during intense gaming sessions;
- RGB backlighting, customisable via RedMagic OS, adds a stylish accent;
- tactile touch zones on the panel can be used for control in games, similar to the extra buttons on a gamepad.
This element makes the tablet unique among gaming devices, providing not only performance but also convenience for mobile gamers.
The novelty is available in Eclipse (black) and Starfrost (silver) colours.
The device is already available for pre-order and sales are scheduled to start on 16 July.
